It illustrates the history of the gardens from the XVIII° century to the present day.
It is situated in the former guards’ kitchen in the vaulted cellars of the château and illustrates the evolution of the site in 20 stages explaining how the French gardens were conceived, designed and finally planted. The emphasis is laid on their construction on piles because of the marshy terrain.
